More Than A Conqueror
“He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
Are you actively believing that the Holy Spirit who lives in you is greater than the enemy? Or are you subjecting yourself to the condemnation and accusations of the father of lies? Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Satan no longer has any legal claim over you.
Fear, discouragement, and hopelessness are often the result of subconsciously agreeing with the lies of the enemy about ourselves, our circumstances, and our future. Satan wants us to believe that we are still being held responsible for our sin. The truth is that Jesus Christ has paid our debt in full, and the charges against us have been nullified.
You are not defeated. You are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
You are not condemned. You are set free (Romans 8:1).
You are not a victim. You are victorious (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Evaluate where you have partnered with discouragement, hopelessness, fear, shame, and despair. Reclaim your God-given authority that you have previously surrendered. If God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?
When you choose to actively believe the truth of who you are in Christ because of his redemption, how will this shift your perspective? The more you partner with the mind of Christ rather than the mind of Satan, the more your feelings will come into alignment with the peace, hope, and joy that is available to the believer.
Stop listening to the voice of the enemy. Take back your authority and remember who you are as a precious child of God.
Negative experiences and traumas often lead to the formation of beliefs about oneself, others, and the world that are not in alignment with the truth of Scripture. When you are operating out of skewed belief systems, you will continue to experience problems that often manifest in anxiety, depression, difficulty trusting others or yourself, and a feeling of being unsafe. A Christian therapist can help you identify your misaligned beliefs and understand why they formed. This will give you the power to make intentional changes to your ways of thinking that will open you up to growing in confidence, peace, and hope.
Don’t live in accordance with what your past has taught you about who you are. Take a step today to break your negative patterns and step into greater health and healing, aligning your thoughts with who God says you are.
